It's my pleasure to officially use this opportunity to congratulate every newly admitted student(potential 100 level student) on their admission into the Federal University of Technology, Owerri.
I believe some of you guy (just admitted) have heard about how hectic the registration procedure always appears to be every year. I must say it will be very difficult if you don't flow with instructions timely, you face hedges when you violate instructions and exercises lackadaisical attitude toward the registration process.

Firstly, you'll need to ready the following credentials before tomorrow morning.
1. FUTO ADMISSION LETTER
2. FUTO SCREENING RESULT SLIP
3. JAMB RESULT SLIP-ORIGINAL(JAMB PRINT OUT)

Credentials required for the clearance exercise include:
1. JAMB ADMISSION LETTER
2. FORM 6 LETTER
3. FORM 18 and 19
4. FUTO ADMISSION LETTER
5. FUTO POST-UTME RESULT
6. BIRTH CERTIFICATE
7. LOCAL GOVERNMENT CERTIFICATE
8. FUTO SCHOOL FEES RECEIPT AND ACCEPTANCE FEES RECEIPT.
You'll need required to submit the above mentioned documents at SENATE BUILDING. (you'll be directed to the particular office as you get to senate)
Below are the days meant for submission for each faculty.

NB: Submission will be done on daily basis. And its advisable you get there as early as possible so you can submit and go for other things/activities.
After submission of the above mentioned credentials, you'll be expected to return to the same office where u submitted it after 2weeks from the submission date(unless instructed otherwise)
After the two weeks elapses, a CONFIRMATION LETTER will be given to you, with which you'll be head to you various departments for further registrations.
While waiting for the 2weeks to elapse, it's advisable you for the following activities :
1. Medical clearance at FUTO CLINIC.
2. Library registration at FUTO LIBRARY.
3. Application for accommodation at Student's Affairs Unit(Old Registry).
